"Great hotel" Arrived very late at night, and was tired, so wanted a warm greeting and smiling face from the guy on the front desk, but that was too much to ask for, so the start of the stay wasn't promising, but from then on it was great! Room was comfortable, and clean. I was on ground level next to the road and rail track, but I didn't notice any noise. Breakfast buffet was excellent. I would certainly stay here agin as it was good value, and the location is ideal too.

"Good spot and value." Found this hotel ideal for our 4 night stay to see the markets at Christmas. Our room was at the back so there was no noise at all. One gripe was it smelt of cigarettes but i didn't ask for a no smoking room so can only blame myself. Better that thean a loud room though. Breakfast was very good and well stocked. Close enough to all the markets and shops also a very good Brauhaus behind the church near the hotel. This is in the opposite direction to the Dom so we only found it by luck when we went for a wander one day. Got a good price for the 4 nights so with cheap flights too it was a bargain of a xmas break. Cologne is fantastic, christmas for grown ups-everyone should try it!!!
