"Nice Hotel - Good Location" We stayed here for 3 nights and found the Hotel was very clean and the staff were really friendly and spoke excellent english. The hotel is also in a good location for getting around the city and is only 5 minutes walk from the chocolate factory/museum. We only eat in the hotel bar once but found the food to be excellent however the breakfast was very expensive at €15 each. Would definately stay again and recommend this hotel.

"Great value" We booked this hotel via travelsupermarket and cost us just under £70 for a 3 night stay (3rd night is free). It's a 4* hotel and is situated right next to the Severinshof metro line, we didn't hear any noise whilst the windows were closed although did hear someone complaining in reception about the noise of the trams. The hotel is clean and rooms were great for the price, the bathroom was really nice and the shower gels/bubble baths replenished daily. The only reason I can think the price was so low was the demolition site outside the front entrance. When we arrived we were rather concerned but once inside the hotel all was great. The reception staff were all lovely and extremely helpful, although some of the bar staff were a bit off, moaning as we asked for some ice!! It was a boiling hot day and we didn't think it would be a problem but apparently it was!!! I can't comment on the food of this hotel as we like to eat out. The hotel was a ten minute walk from the Dom/Cathedral. I would definitely recommended and would stay here again.

"Excellent!" We stayed here 5 nights. Wonderfull breakfast, quiet room, good service. Next time we will stay again in this hotel.

"Lovely hotel" Just got back from a 3 night stay in the Severinshof in Cologne and we were very impressed. The hotel was so clean and the staff were friendly. We don't speak the language, but luckily all the staff seemed to speak enough english to help with whatever you need. The hotel is well within walking distance of the city centre (about 15 mins), but there are loads of taxis on the corner if you don't fancy the walk. The rooms are a good size and are very clean and modern. The bar and resaurant are lovely and there's a seating area outside too. I would most definitely go back to this hotel again and would recommend to all!!

"Nice and quiet hotel" We stayed here for 4 nights. Got a good price of $98 a night. This hotel is very clean. Good sized rooms with a closet and a small fridge. The windows open in all rooms. It has a parking garage. Great bar and resturant. Very helpful and english speaking staff. A very nice place to stay! It is a mile or so to the Cathedral. Many shops and resturants are along the way.

"Excellent" I stayed in this hotel from the 1st dec - 3rd dec. The hotel is very nice and the staff at the hotel speak very good English and are very polite and willing to help as much as they can. The food at the hotel is excellent and good value for money we ate there one night and it was nice. The rooms are cleaned daily and clean towels provided if needed, the room we stayed in had a bath, shower, hair dryer, soap dispensers, shampoo, conditioner. The rooms are fully central heated. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are of a very good standard. The tv isn't excellent the only English channel available is CNN however we did watch a german tv show which was like X Factor so it wasnt too bad :) The hotel is at least 15 minutes walking to the main city and i would recommend catching the metro line 3/4 it takes 2 minutes to Neumarkt just go down the first set of stairs once exiting the hotel. I hope you enjoy this Hotel as much as i did it made my stay in Cologne that extra bit special and i recommend you stay here if your willing to walk or catch a metro to the main shops. Hope this helps There is nothing i could fault this hotel on we paid Don't get a Taxi to the hotel unless you want to be ripped off...We got the train from the train station the train you want to get is from the airport which is the: S13 train to bf deutz kolnarena once you get to bf deutz kolarena follow the signs to the U 3 or 4 which is the underground line 3 or 4 any of the metro trains to Bocklemund the stop which you want to get off at is Severinstr which is 2 stops after kolarena. The train didnt cost us anything we jumped on the train and no one asked us to buy a ticket. The train takes aprox 30 minutes in total and the train station is next to the hotel.
