Have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Hotel Fair and More in Cologne. It is quite a distance from the city centre/Dom cathedral, but can be easily reached on foot if you are feeling energetic.Alternatively a taxi will cost you around 10 euros[one way].The train from the airport to the city centre is very good value at 2 euros and the staff will assist you at the ticket machines.We found the hotel staff to be friendly and very efficient and the standard of comfort and cleanliness in the hotel was very good.The room was very spacious and welcoming on arrival,with gummi bears on the pillows.We were surprised to find a minibar/fridge and a safe in the room .No tea/coffee facilities in the room but vending machines for drinks, snacks and cigarettes in the corridors and hotel lobby.
